Blackberry 8130 Pearl Red - Release and Review

The second generation Blackberry Pearl is here and making quite an impact.
Shortly after having announced the Blackberry Pearl 8120 and Blackberry 8120 Red, RIM have us all crowding round to see the Blackberry Pearl 8130 in Red.
The Blackberry 8130 is equipped with a GPS Satellite Navigation System and Blackberry Maps.

Standby time: 360 hours
Dimensions: 107 x 55 x 14 mm
.
Although a Quad Band GSM device with GPRS, the Red Blackberry Pearl 8130 does not carry WiFi capabilities like its 8120 counterpart but is 3G enabled.
It features the same noise cancellation on the microphone, Trackball and Qwerty keyboard with SureType software.
With a 2 mega pixel camera, updated visual interface, video record, Media Player and Wireless Email, the Red Blackberry Pearl 8130 is far from lacking when it comes to multimedia features.
The Media Player is accompanied by a 3.5mm headset jack, A2DP Bluetooth, an external microSDHC slot and music software which allows you to rip your own music and create playlists on your PC which can then be downloaded directly onto your mobile device using a straightforward USB connection.
The first smartphone to support CDMA networks, the Blackberry Pearl 8130 Red offering the full Blackberry experience, is not just smart but powerful and stylish.
