LG Secret Launches on O2 Contract Deals, LG KF750 Secret

Originally launched on Vodafone in the UK, the new LG Secret has now been released on O2 contract deals. This has now doubled the number of tariffs available to consumers consudering buying the LG Secret as well as open up opportunities of network upgrades for existing customers.

The LG KF750 Secret is a part of the LG Black Lebel range of mobile phones, other inclusive models include the LG Prada phone and the more recent 5.0 megapixel camera LG Viewty.

The LG Secret is something different to the rest of the range, the manufacturer has taken into consideration the fact that many consumers are now being drawn to longer contract lengths, many opting for an 18 month contract instead of a 12 month contract.

Users can also create their own music videos using the phones Movie Maker software.

Nokia N82 White Release and Review - White Nokia N82

The second of two new N Series handsets, the Nokia N82 lends itself more towards being a camera phone, rather than a music phone, for all those budding photographers out there.
Featuring a sleek candy bar design, the White Nokia N82, as with the Nokia N81, is a Symbian S60 3rd Edition device with some powerful abilities.

The LG KF700 is LG’s response to the Apple iPhone and from first impressions LG are giving the iPhone a real challenge.
Elegantly designed, this multimedia slider offers a unique interface with 3 seperate touch related input methods, each with designated functionality and automatically asserted for the task at hand.
In the picture you can instantly see the virtual shortcut dial on its 3 inch touch sensitive screen, for which there is a corresponding scroll wheel positioned on the back of the phone, alternatively slide the screen upwards to reveal an alpha-numeric keypad.

Having integrated TouchFlo technology into the touchscreen, users can scroll through menu’s and shortcuts with a swipe of the fingertip via predefined widgets.

LG Venus Pink Release & Review - LG KF600 Venus Pink UK

The Pink LG Venus is working up quite a storm featuring a brand new interface referred to as InteractPad.
The InteractPad is a unique secondary touchscreen, positioned underneath the primary  screen displaying buttons corresponding to the type of mode currently active for which there are three, telephone, music and camera.

In other words, the LG KF600 Venus Pink offers a dual screen with the secondary screen providing complete navigational control and seamless integration.
A first for mobiles and not surprising that LG are leading the way with this technology, so it doesn’t really come as a surprise to us that Haptic Feedback has been included in the phones distinguished list of features.
Apart from the InteractPad, the LG Venus is equipped with a 3 mega pixel camera with autofocus, media player, document viewer, bluetooth capabilities and expandable memory.
Although not 3G the Pink LG Venus KF600 does offer GPRS and EDGE Technology.
LG have also managed to combine its elegant design and revolutionary technology with some other interesting features in terms of Graphic Themes available courtesy of the graffiti artist Keith Haring which will certainly provide a more than unique edge to the handset.
So understandable this does come with a bit of a hefty price tag but well worth it we think.

HTC Advantage X7510 Release & Review - HTC X7510 UK

Although based on the original specification of the HTC Advantage, the X7510 does have some of its own unique talents and some welcomed improvements on existing features.  With a new design, updated software, improved keyboard and bigger 16GB flash memory, the HTC Advantage X7510 looks set for a huge success.  Featuring HTC’s infamous TouchFlo technology, the magnetic Qwerty keyboard incorporates Haptic Feedback into its design and a special G-sensor automatically identifies the screen’s orientation for optimal usage.  And at this point it would be worth adding that the generous 5 inch touchsreen offers handwriting recognition and HTC Home provides one touch access to emails, text messages, missed calls, calendar detail, contacts and believe it or not weather forecasts in one simple screen.

Multimedia features include a 3.15 mega pixel camera with autofocus, video capture & playback, secondary videocall camera and windows media player 10.  And if you hadn’t guessed it already, the HTC Advantage X7510 is 3G enabled thanks to being HSDPA enabled, but then its even got WiFi connectivity which makes even more sense.  The USB connection allows for easy PC synchronisation and bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP stereo support is as much of a bonus as 3G these days.
Sporting a built-in GPS satellite navigation system is of no great surprise either and the dual speakers don’t go unnoticed.  The device is powered by a 624Mhz processor and runs on a future version of the Microsoft Window Mobile operating system.  With TV Output video clips can be viewed through your TV providing greater visual power and the suite of secondary applications for business use come in rather handy as well.  For now, the HTC X7510 is only going to be released in Black but its still early days and you just never know.

Bluetooth v2.0 with A2DP stereo support is another welcomed addition to the feature list and so is the miniUSB connection which combines its functions as being an audio jack when needed.
Value for money is definitley something that HTC where looking to achieve with this device, the HTC P3470 offers high quality features to a much wider audience.
Even the battery life is pretty impressive with 5.5 hours of talktime and 240 hours on standby.

Nokia 6220 Classic Release and Review - Nokia 6220 UK

Although the Nokia 6220 Classic was announced some time ago its really only hit the press headlines now.
An upgrade of the Nokia 6110 Classic, the Nokia 6220 Classic has received some much needed enhancements to revitalise its appeal.
For starter’s the original 2 mega pixel camera has been replaced with one of 5 mega pixels and features a Carl Zeiss lens and built-in Zenon flash.

A symbian S60 phone, the Nokia 6220 Classic boasts not only high speed internet access with 3G HSDPA connectivity but also mobile blogging for a one stop approach to uploading images and video clips directly from your phone to your favourite social networking site.
Another interesting feature of the Nokia 6220 Classic is of course the Advanced GPS satellite navigation system capable of giving directions by car or on foot and with the inclusion of Geotagging you can view locations on a map of where photo’s were taken.

Samsung G810 Release and Review - Samsung SGH G810 UK

The Samsung SGH-G810 is a 3G handset with Quad Band GPS, HSDPA and WiFi capabilities.
Successor of the hugely popular and well established G800, the Samsung G810 likewise offers high quality features.
Running Symbian S60 3rd Edition operating system, the Samsung G810 slider has a 2.6inch TFT QVGA display and boasts a GPS receiver with Geotagging for location capture of photo’s and then viewing on maps.

Samsung P960 Release and Review - Samsung SGH P960 UK

One of three new fashion phones from Samsung, the Samsung SGH-P960 is also a slider.
Like the Samsung F400, the Samsung P960 is equipped with a 3 mega pixel camera and video player and like both the F400 and F480 models, the P960 offers high speed internet connections with HSDPA 3G connectivity.

But unlike either of the aforementioned models the Samsung P960 features a DVB-H TV Broadcast receiver for watching Live TV broadcasts in supported areas and preconfigured shortcut key for one touch access.
And it includes TV Output for watching video clips recorded on your phone on your TV.
Music features such as the MP3 Player and FM Radio with RDS pretty much go without saying.
Overall the Samsung P960 is really impressive, its sleek and stylish, understated yet bold in its abilities.
The 2.6inch TFT QVGA display screen certainly comes  in handy and the option for memory expansion is always a plus.  And if you need to get out of office but still have a mountain of work to get through, the onboard organizer, document viewer, email and internet browser go a long way to helping manage your workload.
Connectivity options also include bluetooth v2.0 and USB connectivity, for which both regularly come in handy.
Available in Onyx Black, the Samsung P960 was recently shown off at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and since has had nothing but positive feedback.
